education for teachers educational resources for teachers Paul Winter's Living Music has been the inspiration for music teachers for many years, and Paul's workshops on music-making have enabled many to find their own song.

Recently author and musician Marilyn Copeland Davidson has been developing a series of teachers' resources based on Paul Winter's Living Music. Currently an author for 'Share the Music' published by Macmillan/McGraw Hill, Marilyn Copeland Davidson is the creator of 'The Teacher's Guide to EARTH: VOICES OF A PLANET' based on Paul Winter's music.

Grammy Award-winning EARTH VOICES OF A PLANETThe first in the series of collaborations between Marilyn and Paul, the 'Teacher's Guide to EARTH, VOICES OF A PLANET' uses an innovative co-curricular approach to explore each composition of Paul Winter's Grammy Award-nominated album, EARTH: VOICES OF A PLANET, as a bridge to other subjects, generating creative exercises and integrating science and arts through music.

SOLSTICE LIVE, a world music celebration of the Winter Solstice Marilyn Davidson has recently developed for teachers an exciting approach to the Winter Solstice through music taken from Winter's SOLSTICE LIVE album. These teacher's notes include performance suggestions and Orff orchestrations, and are available as a free resource on the McGraw Hill website.

Living Music's albums which celebrate the Voices of the Sea have become favorites with teachers for use in the classroom, particularly the titles SONGS OF THE HUMPBACK WHALE and DEEP VOICES. Other popular educational tools include Living Music's Wilderness titles, especially PRAYER FOR THE WILD THINGS and CANYON.
